Capturing stunning pre-wedding shots can be a challenge, especially when you're working with unpredictable weather conditions. But sometimes, it's the unexpected moments that make the best memories, as one couple and their photography team discovered during a recent shoot in Kashmir.
The journey started with a flight to Jammu, as the team was unable to secure direct tickets to Srinagar. From there, they embarked on a road trip in a mini-van, accompanied by the couple and three of their friends. Their destination was Pahalgam, where they arrived in the late afternoon.
Despite the chilly weather, the team wasted no time in getting to work. The couple changed into pink suits, and they headed straight to Betab Valley for their first shoot. However, things took an unexpected turn when snow started falling, and the temperature dropped to -4 degrees Celsius. Undeterred, the team soldiered on and captured some stunning shots of the couple against a backdrop of pink trees. Despite the freezing temperatures, they kept going until 6:30 pm.
The next day, they returned to Betab Valley, and the weather was much more favorable. The couple wore long coats and looked stunning against the backdrop of the snow-covered landscape. The sun even came out, casting a warm glow on the couple and creating the perfect lighting for some beautiful shots.
However, as is often the case with mountain weather, the good weather didn't last. After just 30 minutes, the sun disappeared, and the rain started falling again. Undeterred, the team pressed on and discovered a stunning location by a cold water river. There was just one problem: they had to cross the river without shoes.
Despite the challenge, the couple was determined to get the shot, and they bravely crossed the river with the photography team. The result was some stunning drone shots of the couple in a beautiful natural setting.
Overall, the shoot was a success, and the team was able to capture some truly beautiful and unique shots thanks to the unpredictable weather and the couple's willingness to go the extra mile. It just goes to show that sometimes, the best memories are made when you're willing to take risks and embrace the unexpected.
